6. Why is the beginning of the file name changed to ~ ?
When the information of the file gets removed, sometimes it removes the file name too. When Data Whitehole finds a file that is not in Windows, it creates the file name with the ~ symbol and the file location where it was found.
Therefore, it is important to restore the file looking at the file extension, or file size, or other files inside the folder, instead of only looking at the file names.
