2. I’m trying to remove data by software. How reliable is it?

1. The permanent data removal methods, whether it is software method or hardware method, have a very high reliability rate.
2. If assurance of data removal is desired, performing both of these processes is recommended:
   - After the permanent data removal by a software method, try to recover data.
   - After the permanent data removal by hardware method (degaussing) is done, try the crushing operation as well.
   
     It is substantially impossible to recover data after any of the above methods is done.
