12. Data was deleted using the Recovery CD provided by the computer manufacturer

Typically, using the recovery CD provided by the computer manufacturer sets your computer back to the state where you have just purchased the computer. This is a very useful feature because it can restore the computer to the normal state when Windows or any application program has any problem. However, all of the data that you've been working with will be lost; therefore you must be very careful when using this program.
Data Whitehole can not recover the data deleted by the Recovery CD. It's because the Recovery CD overwrites the contents on the hard drive completely. Only partial recovery may be done for the portions that the Recovery CD did not overwrite.

To recover the portions that were not overwritten by the Recovery CD, use the "Find Format" feature of the Data Whitehole to recover the data.
